Some of the experiences of my career include:
** A combined total of 8 years working in Complicated Medical Long Term Care. The majority of my clients were under the age of 65, required complete assistance with personal care, and experienced illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis, Advanced organ failure, Acquired (Traumatic) Brain and/or Spinal injury, ALS, or had other complicated disease processes which required intensive nursing care. A number of our patients were on long term ventilator support.
** 4 years of experience in Acute Care on an Inpatient Internal Medicine Unit.
** Most recently, 5 years of experience working in community health with a focus on respiratory care, oxygen support and end of life care.
Presently, I am looking to provide personal care-giving, homemaking and companionship to a small number of clients.
